Peacocks Tearoom directly outside the Marina gate has featured on TV and provides luxury teas, luncheons & deserts. Homemade cakes are another speciality.

Jubilee Gardens across the river from the Marina hosts bands and events at the bandstand. It has open grass space, seating and a children’s play area.

Waterside Antiques centre, next to the Ice Cream van, has 3 floors with a huge selection of goods on commission from trinkets to furniture to art.

The Cutter Inn, across the river from the Marina provides indoor and outdoor drinking and eating either as a bar meal or in the two restaurants.

The Babylon Gallery supports local arts and hosts a display in the main building and events in the Maltings, which include craft shows and cinematography.

The Riverside Bar & Kitchen – RBK – adjacent to the Maltings and also opposite the Marina, is just that, with a wide range of indoor and outdoor foods and drink.
