Ely station is about 5 minutes walk from the Marina gate and provides fast & frequent trains to all areas. Park in the Marina and let the train take the strain.

Boats can leave and arrive by river or road with on-site cranage available. Moorer’s access is straight-forward by car, foot or cycle over the entrance bridge.

Ely has numerous cycle lanes locally around the city and to surrounding villages. Cycle racks are provided in the Marina and a local shop provides cycle repairs and rental.

Bus routes connect Ely to outlying villages and the Cambridge guided bus network. Locally, taxis are plentiful and some mini bussing is available from the council.

Walking is one of Ely’s assets & pleasures. The city, cathedral and all the attractions are close by. Numerous riverside walks of different lengths, the country park and playgrounds are on the doorstep. Otherwise enjoy a gentle stroll around the Marina.

Access by water to all areas is unrivalled due to Ely’s central location on the river system. You can connect to the canal systems, cruise to Cambridge, St Ives, St Neots, Bedford, all the tributaries or get to the tidal section and the Wash.
